Idaho Adventures is hosting a community paddle. The purpose is to try and get our community of Salmon involved in the ever persistent issue of our declining fish populations. This is a call to action, for the endangered Chinook, Sockeye, and steelhead. Come support them, on May 14th, 2022.
There will be two options for the community paddle, you can purchase a ticket to attend the float in your own boat/watercraft handling all your own shuttling logistics or you can purchase a ticket to ride a long with us on a guided Idaho Adventures boat.
50% of all proceeds are going to the Grand Salmon Source to Sea conservation campaign promoting the removal of the four Lower Snake River dams and a moratorium on the Stibnite Gold Project, in order to save Idaho’s rapidly dwindling salmon populations from extinction. Donations are also accepted. If you do donate without participation, 100% of those proceeds go to the campaign.
Event starts at 10am at Idaho Adventures, please be there by 9:30am to sign a waiver. (note: everyone participating in the float MUST SIGN A WAIVER! even if you are bringing your own boat) then we will drive up to the Shoup bridge put-in, float down to the island park where there will be an opportunity to attend a fly-fishing clinic in the afternoon, eat a delicious catered lunch by donation and learn about these pressing issues.
