Please join us for a day on the water at Hells Gate State Park! We will gather to welcome the Salmon Source to Sea paddlers to Lewiston, ID on their way to the sea.
Four women are traveling over 1,000 miles, following the natural migration path of anadromous fish from the rivers of Central Idaho to the Pacific Ocean. This incredible team of women have skied and paddled from the Salmon River and will end at the Pacific Ocean to advocate for the removal of the four lower Snake River dams in order to #StopSalmonExtinction.
A Tribal welcome ceremony will be followed by a community paddle and speakers. Speakers will include the paddlers, Tribal leaders, and NGO partners. For more information, click here.
